ORGANISING YOUR TRIP ALONG LA LOIRE À VÉLO

WHAT PERIOD IS BEST FOR RIDING ON LA LOIRE À VÉLO?

Spring is undoubtedly the best season for bike rides. The temperature is mild and there are fewer cyclists than in summer. But you can enjoy La Loire à Vélo at any time of year, and each season reveals its own joys as you ride along. In summer, for example, revel in the smell of flowers, sap, wild herbs and fields of wheat on the air. In autumn, you can admire the changing landscapes with fiery, golden tones, and hear the call of stags in certain woods and forests.
