An aperitif boat trip on the Loire with Escapades Ligériennes

Just a few kilometres from Orléans, Escapades Ligériennes invites you to come aboard a traditional Loire River boat for a fun wine tasting experience.

Aboard the Bateau Ivre, the Skolvan or the L’Jacques, take an hour-long trip up the Loire as far as Chécy. On your way, you’ll pass the ruins of an ancient château and then head back downstream with the current. This provides a great opportunity to see the marks left by beavers before returning to the charming little port of Combleux.

During the walk, enjoy an aperitif and a tasting of two glasses of still or sparkling white wine: an AOC Orléans-Cléry from Domaine Javoy or an AOC Montlouis-sur-Loire from Domaine Patrice Benoit. Unless you would prefer to try some delicious homemade fruit juices. Canapés of Loire fish or Sologne game terrine will be served to accompany this local aperitif. Enjoy a truly convivial moment to discover the river boats and the wines of the Loire Valley!
