Accueil Organise your stay Where to eat? Gastronomic restaurants The Mad Dog
The Chien Fou restaurant, recently created in the old part of Tours by Jean Poirier, a native of the area, is already a must for epicureans and for large, lively tables with friends. The dining room, combining the elegance of the tufa stone with bistro furniture, is open onto the cellar where the meats are matured and the 70 references of confidential vintages and bottles from small estates which break the codes. This pleasant setting and the comforting dishes advertised on the menu are the promise of unforgettable moments. The cuisine of its Chef and friend, Thibault Gobry, is in their image, sincere. It is homemade from fresh, high quality, 100% local produce, and draws on both French tradition and Jean's own culinary inspirations.
