The décor is resolutely rustic: long waxed wooden tables, small Berrichonnes chairs, lots of pottery (La Borne is not far away), oil lamps, baskets, copperware and other antiques surround the old wood stove.
In the dining room, conviviality is the order of the day, the chef prepares a traditional cuisine and copious dishes of the soil, simple and refined. But the gastronomic emblem of the house has always been the pike with cream and the chocolate charlotte, the making of which the chef keeps secret.
As for the choice of wines, the customer has no questions to ask; the Menetou-Salon is a sovereign choice.
