Water parks and center parcs

Do you want to swim, dive, hurtle down slides or simply relax in the water? Come to the Loire Valley’s Center Parcs (Les Hauts de Bruyères) and its big waterparks, GlisséO, Aquavita and Spadium Centre, where the whole family will have a great time!

The biggest waterparks in the Loire Valley

First up is GlisséO, in Cholet. Covering an area of 27,000 m², this vast complex combines 8 swimming pools, 2 skating rinks and multiple stone beaches. Those who want to relax and keep in shape can also stop off at the fitness centre.

At the Aquavita Water Park, in Angers, swimming is the top attraction and there are loads of activities on offer: outdoor swimming all year round in the heated pool, a paddling pool for young children, slides, waterjets, waterfalls and rapids for everyone else! They also have a spa area where you can enjoy a relaxing massage.

At the Spadium Water Park, in Monts, near Tours, you’ll be spoilt for choice for water activities, with aqua aerobics, water-polo, aquacycling, slides, swimming in the 25m pool heated to 30°, sun loungers and spas. There’s everything to keep you fit!
Not far from there, in Loches, the Parc Naturéo offers a 300m² natural swimming pool on top of its standard swimming pools, which is a first for a park like this!

Campers can find similar waterparks in many Loire Valley campsites like Le Fief in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, L’Océan in Croisic, les Alicourts Resort in Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre or le Domaine des Bois du Bardelet near Gien.

Center Parcs Les Hauts de Bruyères, in Sologne

Are you looking for relaxation, water parks, forests, walks or horse-riding? Center Parcs Les Hauts de Bruyères, in Sologne, offers you all this in one place, and all situated just a few kilometres away from the beautiful Châteaux of the Loire Valley.

Come for just weekend or a longer stay in one of their many chalets. You definitely won’t be short of activities! Adults and children alike will have a whale of a time in their Aqua-Mundo, a tropical swimming paradise. Then let yourself be tempted by forest walks (on foot or on horseback), fishing trips, or tennis and squash games. After all that exercise, why not relax in the Deep Nature Spa? Here you can enjoy the sauna, jacuzzi and hydrotherapy treatments.

And there’s no chance of the children getting bored thanks to the circus school (become a clown, acrobat or juggler), the 110m Topsy Turvy slide through the dark, the wild rapids and the ponies!
