Description
Departure takes us through forests to St-Août, where every Tuesday morning, a farmers? market makes you want to fill your saddlebags. The road then stretches on to Issoudun, the royal city, where history is reflected in the streets and built heritage; not to be missed is the Tour Blanche keep, with its breathtaking view from its height. A visit to the Musée Saint-Roch, a former hospice turned contemporary with astonishingly rich and diverse exhibits, is a complete surprise. Then via St-Georges-sur Arnon to Reuilly, which gave its name to the 3-color PDO wine. On the return journey, we pass through Vatan, Indre?s 1st town from Paris, home to the circus museum. Don't miss St-Valentin, then Déols.
