the 168 km route follows in the footsteps of these 2 personalities. The first stop is the village of Lys-St-Georges, where you can admire its castle, before continuing on to Neuvy-St-Sépulchre, the main stage on the route to Santiago de Compostela via Vézelay. The basilica is a replica of the one in Jerusalem. At Aigurande, the border with the Creuse département is not far away. Ste-Sévère is only 20 minutes away. The world of Jacques Tati, with its square, merry-go-round and market hall, is still with us after the filming of "Jour de Fête": the "Jour de Fête" house reveals its secrets. Near La Châtre, the Vallée Noire, so dear to George Sand, is revealed, where she set many of her novels.
