OBSERVE THE COSMOS AT THE PÔLE DES ÉTOILES
The Pôle des Étoiles opens the doors of the universe wide! In Sologne, just a stone’s throw from the gigantic Nançay Radio Astronomy Observatory, home to the 4th largest radio telescope in the world, you’re in for a fabulous experience. Enter the planetarium. This vast dome, 8 metres wide, will allow you to observe the Universe as it unfolds before your eyes at 360°! Throughout the year, a wide range of activities and fun tours are organised to help young explorers and their families better understand the mysteries of our galaxy!

ADMIRE THE ANIMAL WORLD AT THE HAUTE-TOUCHE ZOOLOGICAL RESERVE
More than 1,300 animals from all five continents await you at the Haute-Touche Zoological Reserve. Set in a 500-hectare forest, you can observe them by following a 4km itinerary by car. Grey wolves, wildebeests, zebras and numerous deer will cross your path. After these discoveries, you can continue on foot, by bike (hire available on site) or in an electric buggy. Two trails, 2 km and 2.5 km long, will take you to meet baboons, kangaroos, cheetahs, lemurs… Guaranteed to amaze young and old alike!
MEET THE ANIMALS AT LA TANIERE – ZOO REFUGE
Come and visit the 600 animals at La Tanière – Zoo-refuge, near Chartres. You’ll meet animals of 80 different species, all rescued from the wild. The lynxes Tara and Zion, Oliver the leopard, Canaille and Canelle the brown bears, Rajendra the elephant, Juan and Paco the parrots… they all have moving stories to tell. Across 14 hectares, you can watch the elephants bathe, observe the long and funny delousing sessions of the monkeys and be amused by the antics of the sea lions in their tank… The mini-farm, with its donkeys, goats, chickens and rabbits, is sure to delight the youngest visitors!
