Exposition « Dehors Dedans » de Julien des Monstiers au Château de Chambord

The Domaine national de Chambord invites artist Julien des Monstiers for a residency starting in April, followed by an exhibition. Considered to be the new genius of contemporary painting, Julien des Monstiers works with the transfer technique: he paints his drawings on a tracing paper, then presses the still-fresh paint onto his canvases in an incessant back-and-forth process. Some thirty works, half of them produced for the exhibition, will be presented at Chambord, engaging in a close dialogue with the monument and its history.
