Dive into the world of the book and the binding, you will have an overview of the history of the binding, what it consists of and its different stages, with discovery of the tools (press, shears, vice…), the materials used (papers, leathers, cardboards…) and demonstration of a stage (sewing, backing, unbinding of a book or other). You will learn how the workshop works, and you will have the possibility to admire books bound according to various methods.
