The Valençay AOC wine appellation covers an area that includes part of Indre and part of Loir-et-Cher. It is composed of 139 hectares with Gamay (red and rosé wines) and Sauvignon (white wine) as the main grape varieties.
The Lacour vineyard is located in the heart of the Valençay AOC vineyard in the north of the Indre department. HEV estate, Hachette guide for white and rosé wine, Tulipe Rouge for white wine.
