Since 2007, the saffron of La Chapelle vicomtesse is known as one of the best saffron in France, gold medal in 2018, 19, 20, and excellence award in 2021. The Thévenet Hydrolats (distillation of plants and flowers) are added to saffron.
In the heart of the Perche vendômois, the saffron growers of La Chapelle-Vicomtesse passionately relay to you the legend of the spice and their knowledge around the famous saffron tea. A moment that you won't forget. Guided tour with animation and tasting of saffron pleasures and hydrolats (except during covid period). The visits of the saffron factory and the distillery will resume at the end of 2022 in new premises.
