Domaine Jean-Paul Balland

Presentation

The successors of a long line of winegrowers, Jean-Paul and Magali Balland have, for 40 years, patiently developed the family estate. They now cultivate 24 hectares of Sancerre appellation (18 hectares of Sauvignon – 6 hectares of Pinot Noir).
The Domaine Jean-Paul Balland is a family estate, created 6 generations ago

Their 2 daughters, Isabelle & Elise, now cultivate 24 hectares of Sancerre appellation (20 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc – 4 hectares of Pinot Noir)
Julien, Isabelle’s husband, joined them in 2017 and is more involved in the vineyard.
Together, they give the vineyard and the wine constant care combining modernism, follow-up and respect for traditions.
The wines are certified TERRA VITIS since the 2017 vintage. The Domaine is in organic conversion since 2020.
