Domaine Firmin DEZAT
The DEZAT family is one of the oldest winegrowing families in the Sancerre region. We find it in the archives as early as 1550.
André DEZAT took over the family vineyard in 1948 and became actively involved in the promotion of Sancerre wines.
In the 1970s, his sons Louis and Simon joined him. The estate was modernized with new facilities and gained new momentum, particularly in the production of Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé wines.
More recently, Arnaud and Firmin DEZAT, the grandsons, joined the family business.
Since 2006, the André DEZAT estate, now the Firmin DEZAT estate, has been producing Menetou Salon wines, another famous wine of the Centre Loire.
