Domaine du Coudray

Presentation

The Domaine du Coudray is located in the commune of Civray, west of Bourges. Initially specialized in cereal cultivation and seed multiplication, Philippe Nivet and Michel Savoie decided to diversify by setting up a wine-making activity in Quincy in 1995.
The viticultural activity is based on a collective system. The work in the vineyards is carried out by a team of employees shared with six other winemakers. The vinification is carried out in the premises of the Cave Romane de Brinay, resulting from the association of 14 estates. It allows us to benefit from a modern tool and from the skills of oenologists and cellarmen who participate in the elaboration of quality wines. Each of the winegrowers remains master of his own production. Since 2011, new plantations of vines in the Reuilly appellation have allowed us to complete our range of wines.
