Domaine de Montcy

Created in the 1990s from vines that once belonged to Château de Troussay, Domaine de Montcy now covers some thirty hectares spread over four main plots of land in the communes of Cheverny, Cormeray, Chitenay and, more recently, Celettes.
Created in the 1990s from vines that once belonged to Château de Troussay, Domaine de Montcy now covers some thirty hectares. The estate is entirely within the Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny AOCs, with a balanced blend of reds (Pinot noir, Gamay, Malbec) and whites (Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Romorantin), including a heritage of old Sauvignon vines planted on the famous ‘Clos des Cendres’. Inaugurated in June 2022, our new winery, located in Cormeray, is now the place to be for both private and professional visitors. The entire project was entrusted to local craftsmen. It is eco-built, with a timber frame and insulation made from natural materials. In front of the winery, we've planted a few rows of vines with all our grape varieties. We'll be able to explain their specific characteristics and our work to you the next time you visit. Your children are welcome too!
