Domaine Chasseignes
The Domaine des Chasseignes is a family estate. Since 2011, Aurore Dezat has managed the operation. Before her, Denis, her father, and Claude Dezat, her uncle, had continued the work undertaken by Marcel Dezat, the grandfather. If she perpetuates a family tradition, Aurore Dezat makes sure to bring a personal touch.
The Domaine des Chasseignes covers 9 hectares where Sauvignon blanc (8 ha) and Pinot noir (1ha) are produced. The cultivated plots are located in the commune of Sury-en Vaux where they are nourished by the three characteristic terroirs of Sancerre: white earth, caillotte and flint.
