In 1983, Pierre and his son Jean Pierre created "SCEV CHAUMEAU BALLAND et fils" by combining the birth names of Jean-Pierre's parents, CHAUMEAU and BALLAND.
In 2008, following the death of Jean Pierre CHAUMEAU, Sylvie, his wife, took over the estate and has been producing and marketing the wine ever since.
