The sites of the Foucault and Massé ponds have been grouped together in a Regional Nature Reserve made up of 320 ha of exceptional environments and landscapes by their diversity and richness. It has 12 ponds, including the Massé pond which shelters one of the last reed beds. The Reserve also hosts meadows extensively managed by cattle grazing (partnership with 6 breeders), buttons like the one dominating the site of the Foucault ponds, a brande sector, a micro peat bog…
