The Communes cover more than 20 ha and are home to a wide variety of open environments, including a meadow that has been used for grazing for a very long time. The site is known to be home to one of the most beautiful populations of Sérapias langue, the emblematic orchid of the Brenne. It is home to many insects including the Damier de la Succise, a butterfly protected at the European level, as well as amphibians and reptiles such as the Crested Triton and the European Cistude.
