The current parish church, Notre-Dame de Chatillon-sur-Indre was until the 18th century a collegiate, served by a chapter of secular canons and dedicated to St. Austregisile, Archbishop of Bourges in the seventh century. Construction began in the last quarter of the 11th century and continued during the first half of the 12th century. Come and see its carved porch, capitals, the strong Roman pillars that support the pointed barrel vault, as well as the astonishing height of the nave (nearly 20 m).
