Château of Fougères-sur-Bièvre
Built at the end of the 15th century, the castle of Fougères-sur-Bièvre offers the image of the ideal castle with its keep, a courtyard with machicolations and its fortified entry gate. Located near a river, with its vegetable garden of medieval inspiration.

Although built in the late fifteenth century, this castle has an even medieval defensive: parapet, battlements, towers and curtain walls. Only one gallery, added in the early sixteenth century, evokes the Renaissance. Frames and a unique medieval-style garden complete the visit. Permanent exhibition about the building trades and temporary exhibitions. Self visit with notice (9 languages). Guided visit by appointment. Last access 30 mn before closing.
