Accueil Organise your stay Visits Gardens & parks Plan d’eau de Mézières Ecluzelles
Thirty years after the cessation of material extraction, spontaneous vegetation has settled on the banks of the ballast pits. Its composition is very similar to the natural vegetation of the banks of the Eure: alder, ash, willow and birch are the main tree species. Shrubs and lianas are numerous and herbaceous plants are interesting to discover such as lysimonium, willowherb and mint.
