Accueil Organise your stay Visits Gardens & parks L’Etang de l’Isle
The vast wet grasslands and the alluvial forestland around the former Isle lake form an oasis of untamed nature in the heart of the town of Senonches, in the regional nature park of Perche. The dense and exuberant vegetation, which is typical to wetland areas, acts as a filter for the waters which pass through the area. The mosaic of open and wooded environments is home to a wide variety of birds, even in the town-centre.
