Accueil Organise your stay Visits Gardens & parks Les Pelouses du Bois du Roi
Located in the heart of Champagne Berrichonne, at the western limit of the Berry's calcicultural lawn network, the Bois du Roi and its lawns constitute a remarkable entity both ecologically and in terms of landscape.
This site has a rather pronounced “Mediterranean” character which, added to its relief, stands out clearly against the landscape of field crops that surrounds it. It is home to one of the last two remaining dry grassland areas in Champagne Berrichonne de l’Indre, a habitat which should be preserved as a priority for the European Union.
A 2.5 km trail allows visitors to discover this exceptional site.
