Espace Naturel Sensible : « Îles de la Gargaude »

The islands of the Gargaude extend over 40 hectares and are surrounded by dry grasslands on sand and alluvial forest.
The islands have a diversity of environments on the banks of the Loire. Dry lawns, white willow groves are found along the Loire. There are also many species of animals and plants.
A site managed as part of the Loire nature programme.
