Go by bike along the waterfront! After cycling through Bec d’Allier, which joins the Loire and the Allier rivers, the Guétin canal bridge with its 18 arches, and then the river port Marseilles-lès-Aubigny, you will travel along the canal towpath on the Loire and then the Loire à Vélo cycle route. You will even go past the cycle route's 'km 0.' In the Allier valley, the floral park in the medieval village Apremont-sur-Allier, ranked as one of the 'most beautiful villages in France', provides a magical extravaganza of scents and colours. The Aubois valley has a rolling countryside that is interspersed with ponds, priories and woods which will allow you to appreciate marvellous vestiges including the former factories in the village of Torteron, the Fontmorigny abbey and the Sauvard tile…
