Description

At the beginning of the 20th century, Le Blanc was an important railway junction. The itinerary takes you on one of the tracks that started from this strategic centre. Today transformed into the Voie Verte, it is a bucolic and shady route punctuated by old stations. Leaving that of Le Blanc, the itinerary joins the Creuse river on a gentle slope and follows it until Saint-Gaultier where it crosses it offering a view of the town and the site of the priory. The sections Le Blanc / Ruffec and Chitray / San Marino offer a soothing atmosphere, the end of the more urban section allows you to discover the town of Argenton-sur-Creuse and reach the station. Between Ruffec and Chitray, the track runs along the departmental road. Hidden behind a vegetal ribbon, it is quickly forgotten, the eyes drawn
