Description
On what was once the land of the Templars of Arville, discover the bucolic, rolling landscape surrounding the Coëtron river. The region has preserved its age-old landscape of small fields bordered by hedgerows. As you wander through the woods or cross a stream, the view will open out onto one of the many points of interest along the route. Panoramas, private châteaux, half-timbered farmhouses… take a break on the edge of Boisvinet Lake, step into Souday church and discover its mural paintings, and lift the veil on the Templars secrets when you visit one of France’s best-preserved commanderies and its interpretation centre.
