In 2025, the Canal d'Orléans à vélo project will cover a distance of 79 km, linking Châlette-sur-Loing to Orléans and providing a cycling loop of over 230 km along the Loire and Loiret canals, and via the Eurovéloroutes 6 la Loire à vélo and 3 la Scandibérique.

Description
The Canal d'Orléans à vélo is a 78 km greenway project that will link Châlette-sur-Loing to Orléans from 2025.
Currently, 2 sections are being developed: a 16 km section between Châlette-sur-Loing and Presnoy, and a 30 km section between Vitry-aux-Loges and Orléans.
Eventually, this itinerary will complete the existing cycling offer, enabling cyclists to follow a loop of over 300 km along the Loire and the Orléans, Briare and Loing canals.
