Visit the Royal Château of Amboise

Before the show, come and discover the Royal Château of Amboise. Standing on a promontory overlooking the Loire, it was originally a fortress before being adorned with the refined architecture of the early Renaissance. A favourite residence of the kings of France, it was home to many royal children, including the future François 1st. The royal dwelling, the great council chamber, the king’s bedroom and the imposing Minimes cavalry tower reveal its history. Near the château, the recently restored Chapel of Saint-Hubert houses the tomb of Leonardo da Vinci.
