About the monument :
From 1951 to 1967, the Castelroussins lived the American way. The association "Châteauroux c'était l'Amérique" brings back to life this beautiful era when people discovered dollars, big cars, jazz, hot dogs, etc. Come and see the objects, photos and films of these seventeen flourishing years for the berry-bearers! The U.S. Museum also welcomes Americans who spent their youth in Châteauroux. The association also accepts any donation of period objects!
