Description
The current basilica was built between 1886 and 1924 by the Touraine native architect, Victor Laloux, just a short distance away from the vestiges of the medieval basilica. This Neo-Byzantine basilica was built on the tomb of Saint Martin, found in 1860 and sheltered in a crypt that still attracts numerous pilgrims.
