Description
After exploring Richelieu's "ideal city", a model of 17th century town planning, enjoy a walk along the river in the park with ancient chestnut trees that once was home to the Cardinal's castle. Built around 1630 by the architects of Louis XIII, it was the largest castle ever built in France before Versailles.
