Parcours Mémoire de rues – Bélâbre
A patrimonial journey is proposed to you from the reproduction of old postcards to enhance the Bélâbre of the beginning of the twentieth century and to compare it to the current Bélâbre thus underlining the evolution of the buildings and resuscitating the daily life of the time.
Description
18 postcards have been selected. Each reproduction is accompanied by an explanatory text based on available archives and historical documents. Two panels presenting the operation, showing the overall map of the route and locating the 18 signs are located in 2 "strategic" places: the Tourist Office and the Place de la République. Finally, a small case has been conceived containing the reproduction of the 18 postcards in their original format, completed by the reproduction of 10 more recent postcards (1950s and 1960s) made in black and white from aerial photographs of the town.
