Neither museum nor foundation, the Centre de Création Contemporaine Olivier Debré (Olivier Debré Contemporary Art Centre) is set to be a dynamic art centre, continuing in the spirit of the CCC's initiatives over the past 35 years. Tours and the Loire Valley will now be home to a flagship contemporary art centre boasting 4 exhibition areas for a total surface area of 4,000 m². For the first time, an art centre will be in charge of the collection of a major abstract artist, Olivier Debré.
The Centre de Création Contemporain Olivier Debré will be a dynamic, lively and creative centre for the arts, in accordance with the wishes of painter Olivier Debré, who passed away in 1999.
