The museum reveals the activities of men in the region since prehistory, step by step. During your visit, you will be able to admire an extraordinary collection of works, rare and moving, that retrace the rich past of the Saint Amandois communities.
About the monument :
Originally built by monks for the abbots of the abbey of Noirlac, then a nunnery and even a prison, this building includes since 1938 the collection of the Museum of Saint-Amand-Montrond with the popular art and traditions of the Berry.
