Description
Sarah Caryth Rancy's home between 1928 and 1941. A Hindu dancer, snake charmer then lion tamer, the Circus Lady is famous in Europe for her taming by petting and for fitting gold teeth for her lion ""Prince"" in 1933. Visit her Manoir des Fauves with its museum, lions' barn, the old ditches, the 16th-century dovecote located near the ditches bears the mark of the old enclosure. The other tower in the park is considered to be the old salt tower, according to oral memory. Walk in the park. Exhibition on writer Raymonde Vincent, Prix Fémina award in 1937, buried in Saint-Lactencin, and Betty Jacquey, dialect writer born in Sougé.
