19th century church decorated with modern wall paintings by Jorge Carrasco (1968-1976).
Description
In the Neo-Romanesque church dating back to 1876-1879, built according to the plans of the architect Dauvergne, the painter Carrasco painted the walls (1968-1976) in a very colourful and elaborate way. The symbolic shapes evoke different spaces: paradise, the purgatory and the place of man in creation.
