Accueil Eglise Saint-Pierre
The church has preserved from the Romanesque period, its chevet reinforced with flat buttresses, crowned with modillions with a frustrated decoration. The facade of the church is topped by a slate-covered wooden bell tower that was built in 1836.
Description
Inside, the nave was covered in 1877 with a wooden cradle masking the old oak panelling which has been preserved. The choir is separated from the hemicircular apse by an arch resting on engaged columns with bare capitals. To the north of the nave, the former seigneurial chapel, dating from the 15th century, is vaulted with flamboyant warheads resting on bases whose crests have been hammered out, but the keystone has retained its lily-flowered coat of arms. In the apse, the presence of wall paintings, probably from the 17th century, has been revealed by soundings.
