Accueil Eglise Saint-Cyr – Berry Roman
About the monument :
The rebuilt nave and tower-porch from the 19th century do not suggest the existence of a high barrel-vaulted nave supported by three tall arcades surmounted by capitals with roughly-crafted figures. Most interesting of all are the frescos discovered in 1984 on the vault of the choir. They depict scenes from the childhood of Christ including the Annunciation, Visitation and Nativity to the north and the Worship of the Magi to the south, and date from the early 13th century.
