Initially, a simple chapel was built around 1842 to replace the old dilapidated chapel. The building was extended in 1862 with the addition of a sacristy and two side chapels.
About the monument :
An elegant stone bell tower was added in 1881. Recently restored, the church has a nave and a semicircular apse.
