About the monument :
The Conservatory of Agriculture, inaugurated in 1990 in a former steam engine building, an example of the industrial architecture of the early 20th century, addresses topical subjects relating to agriculture, the environment and food. The museum presents an exceptional collection of instruments, tools and machines retracing the agricultural revolution of the 19th and 20th centuries. Some of the items on display are rarities, and all give an insight into the agricultural cycle. The Museum is one of the most visited in the Centre Region and is accredited as a Musée de France. It targets a family audience, tourists and school groups. It proposes exhibitions, conferences, shows, trade fairs, demonstrations and workshops and the visitor experience in a modern and entertaining one.
