This Roman structure in a natural setting, is the image of the Brenne residents who enabled its rescue: simple, welcoming, sometimes mysterious. Built at the end of the 12th century, it is worth the detour to see the curious paintings covering its walls. The 12th and 15th-century paintings feature fantasy animals, recount medieval legends and invite us to contemplate a rich and moving imaginary world.
