About the monument :
Noirlac Abbey is a major Cistercian site in Europe. Situated at the heart of hedgerow countryside shaped by the Cher, visitors can enjoy the serenity of its white stone and the purity of its architecture, subtly highlighted by the light filtering in through stained glass windows designed by Jean-Pierre Raynaud.
The abbey has been a cultural meeting centre since 2008 and has developed a cultural project based on sound, and a varied artistic programme.
