Abbaye de Fontmorigny

The serenity of a Cistercian abbey. This abbey became affiliated with the Cistercian Order in 1149. Fontmorigny experienced major economic development from the Middle Ages, by means of the steel industry. The oldest parts of the building date back to the second half of the 12th century, while the convent buildings were rebuilt in the 18th century.
