Mareuil-sur-Arnon is a pretty little village in the Cher department located 35 km southwest of Bourges. The Arnon river is an imposing 33 hectare lake, bordering the village and offering to the fishermen carnivorous fish and white fish. It is also ideal for relaxing and walking, cycling or canoeing. Numerous areas have been laid out to punctuate your strolls: the Champ de Foire, the small park of the Lavoir, the promenade of the Allée Verte or the Promenade Rive Sud. Along the lake you will find: picnic tables, benches, barbecues, children's playgrounds, fitness trail, petanque and tennis courts.
