To cool off, why not visit some of the troglodytic galleries in the village of Bourré (15 minutes away), or enjoy the beach at Montrichard. For Châteaux enthusiasts, there's a wide choice! Chambord, Loches, Cheverny, Amboise… but also lesser-known gems such as the Châteaux of Montpoupon, Montrésor or Selles-sur-Cher.
