Déols Abbey has had a rich and eventful history since it was first built in 917. It was one of the most important abbeys in France, and its influence was far from limited to the Berry region. Its remains bear witness to a golden age between the 12th and 14th centuries.
Today, thanks to tablets equipped with augmented reality, it's possible to project yourself into the Abbey and understand its past grandeur.
