This street show "Voyage au bout du lit" is presented by Cie Courir les Rues.
With a few thousand years of hindsight, we can say that Homo sapiens is sleep-deprived. The Courir Les Rues company modestly brings its bed to the table. And they provide a musical response to our need for rest and escape. Led by the three musician-singers, the bed invites us on an exotic journey to the very heart of our daily commute. A journey where steps are slow and music is played at low volume. Little by little, a bubble of softness and tranquillity is created. We slow our pace, taking the time to listen to the sounds and words.
